This study is grounded in a nationwide quantitative survey of Swiss Independent Asset Managers (IAMs) and provides most comprehensive empirical snapshots of the sector currently available. Based on 170 valid responses — equivalent to 13% of the 1’309 FINMA-licensed institutions (31 May 2025) — it offers exceptionally broad industry coverage and a robust basis for analyzing the sector’s structural, operational, and strategic characteristics.

As highlighted by Finews, this represents record coverage for the Swiss IAM market.

The study examines: Swiss market, assets under management, employees, operations and technology, profitability, corporate succession and the future of the industry, strategic recommendations.
